A few progress photos..

Chains now on and starting to look more like a motorbike!

A photos of the rear setup.

Trial fit of the restored dynamo and making sure all the bolt holes line up!

Battery box bracket. I remade the bolt and spogots in stainless steel - like most fittings.

  1. I am looking for 3T frame rear half. Do you have any spares or know where one could be found? Have 6T parts to trade.

  2. Hi Fred, The problem with finding the rear half is that they are wanted for Trophy replicas. I have spares but these are to build up 3T's with. If I hear of anything, I will come back to you.

This Bike is a real Cinderela, never had so much problems to restore a Triumph.
Because of the Engine is fully rebuild,i done the first Testdrive and the Triumph runs not good with a 375 carb.It starts with one kick all the time ,runs smooth in neutral -timing i done 11/32" before tdc.The Sparks are black ,dry.I lowerd the needle to position 2 ,but when i run the bike 1/2 trootle it is not running smooth at all in any gear.I thing it is a petrol Problem. The main jet is also lowerd in number. This is a shiz happens.May you have idea
    what can be wrong.
    my email is classikbikes@live.de

  5. Hi, I'm back from holiday now. I think you need to consider the Amal 275 carb, or at least something similar. Had a look at you site and it looks to be a very nice restoration - lets hope you can get it to run nicely. Regards, Matt
